It is then installed using adhesive or screws, depending on the type of wood. The surface is sanded and smoothed, a protective layer of lacquer or natural oil is applied, and wooden skirting boards are installed. Natural wood lasts for decades when installed on a dry, level subfloor, but warps quickly if it is not. The price per square meter includes the wood and installation and is confirmed before booking.
